MurphsLife Foundation is committed to making our website accessible to everyone.
Commitment Statement
MurphsLife Foundation is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
We are actively working toward full conformance. Some areas of our website may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, and we are committed to addressing these gaps.
Measures We Take
MurphsLife Foundation takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as a requirement in our web development process
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content (images, icons)
- Ensure sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Design keyboard-navigable interfaces
- Use semantic HTML to support screen readers
- Ensure forms are labeled and error messages are descriptive
- Test with assistive technologies including screen readers
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to resolve the following known limitations:
- Some older video content may lack captions or audio descriptions
- Some third-party embedded content (payment processors, maps) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA
- Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers
